Afternoon,
So the super bowl is over and I have been named champ!
My season record was 7-6 in the end. I won this past weekend’s game by 33 points.
There isn’t much else to report except the fact that I love that “Suck a Ditka” won in a league full of packers fans.

Hey all,
So an update on my fantasy team, now that finals are done… I am in the super bowl!
The game started on Sunday for our match up and finishes with tonight’s game at 8:30.
Ha! I totally expected to lose this past weekend… I didn’t spend one second tinkering with my lineup and actually thought I had quite a few bears players in my starting lineup. Thankfully, I didn’t so I avoided losing points on that front.
I won! My coworker is going to be less than please this morning when he gets in the office… Especially since he was joking about my record this past Friday!

This weekend is the first face off of the season for the Bears v Pack. This is my first in seven, yes seven, years that I don’t live in Pack country during the game. When I worked in the Wisco office, I was one of two people in ten floors of people who was an open Bears fan. This meant I was subject to “hazing” after any losses. The first time was when I walked into the office and I had a fathead up on the wall of Clay Matthews and my door was blocked with green and gold streamers.
I kept the Clay Matthews fat head, but that was for other reasons… I mean, he is Thor walking among us, so… he was fixable, I colored his jersey blue for the bears.
So things aren’t going amazingly well for my fantasy team, but the beauty is there is still time! I lost by a mere 10 points this weekend…
But I made a trade last week and am slowly picking up better players.
My lineup for this week, at least before I tinker some on Saturday morning:
Suck a Ditka is off to a good start this season! I won my first game against Hugs… Who names their team Hugs? He deserved to loose in my opinion
The break down from last week: 114 vs 106… and that’s with my high scoring QB benched at the last minute, too!
Changes this week: I picked up Jake Locker, QB, for my starting lineup this week. He is rated below Cam Newton… but Cam was benched this past weekend and at least his point ave is a close second behind him. I’d rather not take my chances playing again without a decent QB.
Ah it’s that time of year. Football is finally back and being an a Bears fan, having lived in Pack country for about 7 years; I think it’s time I start playing in a league. Luckily there was an opening in the league back in my office. Being the only Bears fan, I obviously had to choose an obnoxious Bears fan name. Enter: Suck a Ditka. Yes, it’s offensive, but so is football.
