Update: Externship

Hey!

I was looking over some old entries today and realized I haven’t really written about one of the more important factors of our time apart… Rog’s externship – you know, the whole reason we are doing long distance in the first place!

It seemed like it was a good opportunity on paper, but it hasn’t quite turned out to be what he was looking for. Oh well, at least he is getting some good office experience. he is learning the typical things you learn in an internship – formatting, office politics, networking skills, etc. So those are all a part of the silver lining…

Weekend adventures: the good, the bad, the ugly

Hey everyone!

I spent this past week in Chicago and weekend in Milwaukee. It gave me the chance to visit with my Dad and snuggle with our family dog. I went off to MKE Friday to work in the office and visit with coworkers and drove back up on Saturday for a studying abroad friend’s wedding! Overall it was a great week.

I got to have some bbq, got hit on by a lady (still got it ;)), got plenty of sleep, visited with friends I haven’t seen in a while and acquired a new tiki cup.

Unfortunately I came home to my roommate (and sister) who has an insane temper.

Fantasy Football: Week 9 wrap up and Week 10 lineup

Ha! I totally expected to lose this past weekend… I didn’t spend one second tinkering with my lineup and actually thought I had quite a few bears players in my starting lineup. Thankfully, I didn’t so I avoided losing points on that front.

I won! My coworker is going to be less than please this morning when he gets in the office… Especially since he was joking about my record this past Friday!
